About this database
The NZ Seniors Knowledge Base is a curated, evidence-first research portal covering policy, practice, regulation, and lived experience of older people in Aotearoa New Zealand.
What this is
A structured collection of public documents — government strategy, parliamentary material, regulator reports, and sector research — organised across 16 topic categories. Every record links back to its primary source so users can verify and cite.
It is built for policy analysts, sector leaders, journalists, family decision-makers, and advocates. It is not a campaigning platform.

- Summaries are synthesised from the original source; key facts are extracted directly with reference back to the document.
- Political intelligence material reflects publicly stated positions only — Hansard, select committee evidence, official releases, and verified media.
How to use the database
- Browse by category to scan all material in one topic.
- Search across titles and summaries — supports filtering by category and file type.
- Document detail pages are print-friendly and have stable shareable URLs.
- Consumer pathways translate the evidence into practical step-by-step guides.
